IJC uses a wide range of pedagogies to engage our students in effective learning. We have infused appropriate universities styles of teaching & learning that stimulate our students' thinking and better prepare them for higher education. Using the adapted approach of team-based learning and flipped classroom, students prepare for classes through assigned readings and recorded lectures and are evaluated for prior learning at the start of class. Students also engage in activities where they articulate their thinking and evaluate their reasoning.
We guide Innovians in learning even as they learn. Generic Process Skills modules help students to transit the demands of the JC curriculum and to develop resilience and practical skills for learning. Equipping Innovians with digital literacies for online collaboration and self-directed learning, in addition to the skills and knowledge to excel at the A-levels as well as to thrive in the dynamic university environment.
